Welcome to Diamond Bar Quarter Horses! My husband Jim and I have been breeding quarter horses since 1980 on our ranch in Parade, South Dakota on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation.

We both were born and raised into the ranching world. Jim has lived here all his life, and I grew up in Ridgeview, South Dakota, just about 20 minutes away. When we got married, we moved to our ranch and started our life together.

Our boys grew up riding our horses for ranching, 4-H and High School rodeos and mostly team-roped. We also had nieces, nephews, cousins, and neighbor kids use our horses at play days, jackpots, 4-H, and High School rodeos, as well helping check and move cattle.

Our priorities in our breeding program are horses that have a quiet disposition, willing to learn, a strong and correct conformation, and can go any direction, as well as be suitable for any type of rider.
